Uses and Abuses of Mobile Phone (Essay post)

Hy,

I hope all of you are fine and enjoying your life happily . I am Talha and you are reading my podt In this post I am going to tell you about "Uses and Abuses of Mobile Phones". You can also use this post as an essay for your examination .

Let's Start :-

Uses and Abuses of Mobile Phone

“Mobile phones play a rather unsavory role in society today. In particular, we observe that mobile phones vary very much in the way they are used by those with mental illnesses. We have found that “people with psychiatric problems are eight times more likely to use their mobile phones for something illegal; people who have had substance abuse problems are eight times more likely to use their mobile phones to send harmful messages to others; and individuals who have had or are having sexual intercourse with a mentally ill person are eight times more likely to do so than people without mental illnesses” (Gill, pg, (1996)). In other words, there is “much more than fits and starts in using your mobile phone”.

One of the many misdeeds taken advantage of by mobile phones is “text messaging”. Text messaging, which is somewhat of a unique way to send a message, cannot be truly controlled, as it is uncontrolled or private information. What is especially brutal with “text messaging” is that people with hidden psychological disorders see it as a risky thing, out of which their symptomatology is based. Those two factors alone are disgusting.

The use of technology is the future and is not a bad thing in itself, but it should be a positive kind of use. Smartphones, like numerous other news apps, become unhealthy when employed or misused. Smartphones “exploit” and create unhealthy relationships between people by not only teaching them critical skills, but also by demanding feedbacks of us, (Gill, pg, (1997)).. Complaints of the flaws or shortcomings of mobile phones have for a decade been in the public eye. And yet, people cannot seem to put the phones down. No doubt, no matter the fact that every phone has received a hardware or software update since the phone’s birth, it never fails to “catch” our attention. The cell phone has begun to impersonate the human body. What is worse, the use of smartphones on the Internet, YouTube and other online sources is devastating. Information will no longer make us smarter or meaningful. We are kept aware of what people are saying. The “addiction to dangerous information” on the internet is becoming a new epidemic in our lives and we can assume that it is just another example of people abusing their cell phones.

Mobile phones are very much supposed to be our friend and protectors. How many times have you heard our iPhone owners crying into their phones for “help”? Something happens, you wake up, and it is no longer the same as when you were sleeping, have a shower or have your hair done. It is no longer a distraction. It is the urgent need for help. We are part of an advanced technology. For all the wrong reasons we are destroying our society with our ever-evolving use of technology. It is our choice and we can decide what we want to do and what we want to use. Of course, we cannot take away the normal function of mobile phones. Fortunately, the changes of use of these phones will be benevolent. We will emerge as a diverse society and will have an efficient landscape. Mobile phones have their advantages, too. Text messaging and video calls with friends is just another way to celebrate each other’s company, and prevent the real friends from getting old. Cellphones are definitely a fun way to entertain us, and it will be a beneficial tool. Mobile phones are the main way to connect with others. We could learn more about history, films, music and much more simply by using our cellphones. I applaud the USA for setting up the Telecom’s Voice over Internet Protocol .

Mobile phones will soon become our friends and protectors. They will act as the controllers of information technology. We can improve ourselves and others with the tools of the future. But with that said, people who are using technology in an unhealthy way should not be given access to the public wifi of our electronic devices.
